днес правих два 800хд, единия оригинал, другия китайка.
не защото съм фен на Gemini , но и за двата сложих Gemini E2 4,30

оригинала - gemini2-430-dm800 SS73

клона - gemini2-430-dm800-8a8f8.nfi   - пачнат с SS72

работата и на двата приемника е еднаква.  gemini2-430-dm800-8a8f8- софта стартира на SCART, и трябва да се зададе от менюто да пусне dvi.
менюто се кирилизира нормално, но EPG на була е на йероглифи.
за парите който инвестира собственика му- да си го оправя сам , на мен немисе занимава
забелязах че тия новите китайки досущ са ги докарали като оригинала, не ми бяха казали че единия е китайка и първо му лепнах едно оригинално Gemini 4,30 докато бях още сънен сутринта, и после вися 1ч. на ком порта.
разбрах че sim за upgreat  на клонинг била 40$ така собственика на такава машина ще може да вдига версията за ss който работи приемника му в някакъв бъдещ момент.
но все още ми се струва висока цената на клонинга за да ми хареса неудобството да се занимавам с тия гимнастики с бомбите.

Не знам дали тук е мястото в тази тема, но ще споделя нещо от опит проба/грешка. Става въпрос за Секондстейджа. Всеки имидж идва с някакъв секонд вграден в него и забелязвам, че приемника грее повече (и то чувствително повече) с секонда вграден в имиджа. Ако се сложи по голяма версия секонд греенето почти изчезва. В момента гледам най- много с Gemini 4.3 в който SS e 73. Вчера сложи SS74 и приемника е почти студен. Нямам си и на идея защо така се получава.

Automated restore

To automatically populate some of your /etc folder, you can place extra files on the harddisk. Create /hdd/backup and /hdd/backup/enigma2, for example using mkdir -p /hdd/backup/enigma2. Copy /etc/enigma2/ to this directory, and they will be restored after installing a new MiLo image.
Automatic plugin install

Create a unix text file, /hdd/backup/autoinstall and put an ipkg package name on each line. You can get a list using ipkg list .... You may also specify file names. For example:

Our OpenPLi project, is going to be the basis on which we continue our development of the PLi® Dreambox software, with means you can get the latest software for your set top box on demand rather than having to wait so for our users nothing will change, we have only made the code public as the GPL license requires us to do.

For everybody who knows how to develop and program, it is now possible to build your own PLi® based software (image).

We encourage other developers, and skinners for example, to join us in the OpenPLi project, if you like you can get a hold of a separate branch to do your own Plugin or Enigma/Python development.

Public Test Images (Beta release)

Our build server generates every night 'Beta' test images
from the OpenPLi source,
these 'beta release' test images are published daily on our forum
and can be downloaded via the 'Nightly OpenPLi Builds' menu item via the main PLi menu.
This is another first for the end user and a great way to keep right
up to date with new technolgy on your set top box.

As the name implies,
these are 'untested' images and should only be installed
and used by people who know what they are doing as they
are not fully tested and that is why they are called 'beta release' versions.
This means that a 'beta' image is an automatically generated image
at a fixed time every day,
egardless of the state the code is in.
If a developer is working on something,
which might or might not be committed entirely,
and could be untested,
the resulting image could be potentially unstable,
ranging from broken features to a crashing or even non-booting image.

We will NOT provide end user support for these nightly 'beta' test images ,
but rather we like to hear your comments and feedback.

Every now and then we will declare a version as stable,
like Jade, compile it with a PLi® livery, and publish it as the next
official PLi image which will be announced at our website
and also via our OpenPli Twitter account.

DF-II.v11.1 DM7020 Enigma2 Image - 20.09.2009

What is new :-

Enigma2 of 090910.

This image is particularly suitable for installing in flash. After booting the available flash memory is 4.3 mb. Using hdd - this can be increased to 7.6 mb available. Also cf or usb may be used instead of hdd but not tested yet.

High definition (HD) skins BrushedAlu-HD and dmm-HD have been modified for the non-HD boxes. These have been further modified for this image to hdd versions so that, when installed, they use only 1 kb of flash memory each.

Special facility to copy media files (mpg, mp3, mpeg4, divx, dvd) from pc to dreambox hdd and play later directly from the hdd without pc.

New addon manager

Note: When you remove (uninstall) a skin via Addon Manager - check that it is deleted from /usr/share/enigma2. Sometimes ipkg remove does not work completely !
