Как Windows 7 Media Center да придобие пълна функционалност с DVB-S2 платки от типа на TBS 6920 и други.

Една от причините да се захвана с WMC е леката и приятна работа след настройването му за работа с сателитна палтка.
Оказа се, че от Микросфт са го спънали в работа му и погледното повърхностно не си струва да се занимаваш с него. НО! Се оказа че WMC е доста добър и всичко, което го има примерно в DVB Dream, DVB Viever си го има и той, даже в някои функции си е направо прекрасен.
Както винаги се оказва, че има уловка, която можеби нарочно е оставена като вратичка за външни фирми да си продават продуктите и правилно!
Ако се опитате да сканирате съгласно инструкциите в медия центъра, ще установите, че част от транспондерите примерно на любимия оператор Helas sat 39 не излизат никакви програми, както писах, WMC няма пълна функционалност или е нарочно спънат.
След известно ровичкане из интернет намерих 2-3 решения за справяне с dvb-s2, но най-удачно се оказа с програмата DVBLink – ПРЕДУПРЕЖДЕНИЕ- В АРХИВА ИМА ВИРУС, КОЙТО СЕ ОПОЗНАВА ОТ АНТИВИРУСНИТЕ КАТО: Trojan:Win32/Bumat!rts, както е казал народа, който го е страх от мечки не ходи в гората, ако някой намери програмата без вирус, ще е добре иначе се плаща!
Начина на инсталация е много добре описан в PDF във всяка една от папките, по принцип са необходими 2 програми за работа със сървъра: DVBLinkServer.msi DVBLinkTVSource.msi , след рестартирането на компютъра се стартира DVBLink Config където се вписат номерата от кея.

Installation
DVBLink Serverinstallation
To install DVBLink Serverstart DVBLinkServer.msi installationfile. Once it is started you will be presented with the installation wizard. Follow the instructions of this wizard to install the software.
In course of installation you may be prompted by operating system whether to continue installation of unverified drivers. Answer Yes or Continue to these questions.
Once installation is completed you will be prompted to reboot the system. Please reboot. When system is rebooted, proceed with DVBLink TVSource installation.

DVBLink TVSourceinstallation
To install DVBLink TVSource start DVBLinkTVSource.msi installation executable. Once it is started you will be presented with the installation wizard. Follow the instructions of this wizard to install the software.
At the end of DVBLink TVSource installation wizard will automatically launch DVBLink Server Configuration utility.
It can also be started at any time from Windows Start menu -> DVBLink -> DVBLink Server Configuration.

Add DVBLink TVSource instance
DVBLink Server configuration utility shows all installed DVBLink sources, including DVBLink TVSource, under “Sourcetemplates” group. To actually use DVBLink TVSource you need to add (instantiate)one DVBLink TVSource source for each hardware tuner card. To add instance of the TVSource source, select TVSource template in the list on the left and press green button:


Enter name for a new instance of the TVSource source in the dialog that comes and press Ok button. The newly created source will appear in the list on the right side.
If you have several tuner cards in your computer, you need to add a separate DVBLink TVSource instance for each of them.
Select a TVSource instance in the list on the right and press … button next to this source to start its configuration dialog. DVBLink TVSource configuration is organized in a number of tab pages, each doing its step of configuration:
- Device setup
- Headends configuration
- Channel scan
- (Optional) Network scan
- (Optional) Channel preview and editing

Device setup
Device setup page of DVBLink TVSource configurator shows all installed tuner devices and lets you select the one that this TVSource instance will control:

Tick Active check box next to this device and make sure that device type is correctly recognized. If it is not so, select a correct device type (Satellite, Cable or Terrestrial) using Type combobox.
Once you have selected active device for this TVSource instance, proceed with Headends configuration.

Headends configuration
Headends tab lets you select and configure where your TV channels come from:

Meaning of the headend depends on the type of your tuner:
- For satellite tuner each headend describes a single LNB. Here you can select its diseqc configuration, LNB type and LOF values. Please note that by default system sets LOF values depending on selected LNB type. You should only change them if you know what you do! For each LNB you should select a channel provider
– a satellite from the drop down list.
- For cable and terrestrial tuners headend is directly associated with a TV provider. You need to select your
TV provider from the drop down list to complete the configuration.
If you do not see your satellite/provider in the list then you may need to add a transponder file for it.

Channel scan
To scan channel you need to proceed to “Scan” tab:

Select all transpondersin the left pane (or a subset of transponders that you actually want to scan) and press scan button. TVSource will start scanning channels, showing progress in the right pane.
Select all your headends in the combobox at the left-top one by one and scan its channels.

Windows MediaCenterSetup
TV Setup
(You can skip thispart if you have already performed TV Setup to configure MC Guide Services source)

TV Setup should be performed only once when DVBLink Server is installed for the first time.
To do TV Setup start Windows MediaCenter and go to Settings -> TV -> Setup TV Signal. This starts a TV Setup wizard. Follow the steps of the wizard to setup your TV Signal:
 Select your actual Region
 Enter your actual postcode
 Agree to the terms of Guide services
 At this point Media Center starts downloading of latest TV setup data for your region
 If prompted to select which tuner you would like to setup – selectSatellite!DVBLink Tuners are virtual satellite (DVB-S) tuners:

 Tuner selection: selectall DVBLink Tuners. Unselect all other satellite tuners (if you have them present):

 Selecta satellite: Select any satellitefrom the list (like ABS-1 satellite, shown in the picture below). It does not matter which satellite you select here. You will not see any channels from this particular satellite as they will be substituted with DVBLink channels during channel synchronization procedure.


 Select LNB type:select Universal LNB type
 Press Next on the Satellite Summary screen
 At this point MediaCenter will ask you whether you want to configure other available tuners. You may want to configure additional tuners if you have them (those which are not controlled by DVBLink Server!).
 Review the TV Signal Configuration summary and press Next
 Press Finish to finish TV Signal setup

DVBLink configuration
DVBLink channel synchronization is done via DVBLink Channel Configuration MediaCenter addin. This addin is located in
- Extras section of MediaCenter if you are running Win7
- Program library section of MediaCenter if you are running Vista

When addin is launched it presents the following screen to a user:

Channel synchronization

Important! If you have done channel configuration properly in DVBLink Server configurator (channel merge, channel names, numbers and EPG sources) there is nothing special that you have to do in the DVBLink Channel Synchronization wizard. Just press Next-Next-Finish and you are done.

Press “Synchronize channels” addin button. Media Center will start channel synchronization wizard:


The first page of channel synchronization wizard presents an overview of all channels that DVBLink Server makes available to MediaCenter. This information consists of
 All channels, currently available via DVBLink Server (All)
 New channels, added since last synchronization (New)
 Already synchronized channels (Old)
 Previous synchronized channels that are not available anymore via DVBLink Server (Delete)

This wizard page shows only new DVBLink channels and allows merging with the existing MediaCenter channels from other tuners (if you have any).
Rightmouse click assigns selectedDVBLink channel to a clicked Guide channel. Double click splits DVBLink
channel from its Guide channel.
Nextwizard button brings Guide services configuration page.
This page assigns MicrosoftGuide services, carrying EPG information, to new DVBLink channels. Left table shows all new DVBLink channels. Right table presents all available Guide services. These services are organized in lineups, depending on the service provider.
If you have performed MC Guide Services channel mapping in DVBLink Server configurator, this page should have all your EPG channel mapping prefilled.
When Finish button is pressed, wizard starts channel synchronization. This procedure may take some time depending on the number of channels, which have to be synchronized and speed of your computer. When channel synchronization is finished, user will be presented with a dialog, showing DVBLink tuners for which synchronization was done:

At this point your DVBLinkinstallation and configuration is completed and you can start watching TV in your Windows MediaCenter. Enjoy!
Softwareregistration

To register your copy of DVBLink TVSource you will need a Hardware Fingerprint of the machine where DVBLink
TVSource runs.
To obtain thisfingerprint, run DVBLink Server configurator, select one of the TVSource sources and press …
button. The DVBLink TVSource configuration dialog shows registration information in the left bottom corner.
